The Aleution Islands, in the North Pacific, was the most remote outpost of the war. Soldiers who manned the strategic bomber base are of interest in this first documentary by John Huston. Each individual is depicted accurately as an integral part of a team. Regardless of the extent of their sacrifice, each gave what was necessary to maintain their location which would greatly influence the outcome of the war. DOCUMENTARY.
