The main emphasis covered is the southern sector of the front which extended through the small country of Luxembourg and one of the fiercest battles of WWII during the Battle of the Bulge. The operations of the various American and German units are broken down into many easy-to-follow heroic small group actions. Volume I covers the events from the German point-of-view, a perspective rarely seen by the Allies.
Volume II treats the offensive from the AMERICAN POINT-OF VIEW, covering each unit, and also offers the events as seen from local civilians.
