Summary: This is the official unit history of the 321st Glider Field Artillery Battalion which was part of the 101st Airborne Division in World War II. Activated at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana, the 321st fought in Normandy, Holland, Bastogne and Central Germany as it provided deadly artillery fire to support the 101st including the famed 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment during the Battle of the Bulge at Bastogne. This unit history was originally published in Germany in 1945. This 2004 reprint of the highest quality is a hardcover edition with an attractive embellished glossy cover. 268 photos/drawings and 1 map. Extra large 8-1/2" x 11" volume.
